Never forever Can it wait for you? What hasn't changed for you? It's gone on long enough Afraid it'll fall apart But I guess I pushed too hard I was trying to help Hasn't it come too far And now it's coming back The middle and the front A fraction of the sum What you thought was dumb Occupied with and vice versa Occupied with what other persons are I'm surprised that you'd want to carry that on I can't be your apologist very long Forgot to carry a zero We counted them all alone Found the pieces Took it with you when you moved Your want to carry that home But I wasn't getting through Thought it was all understood Don't look now I don't like this air Make myself out to seem With the way I wanted to It was so out of sync Ten thousand year increments But the remedy cannot be found And the cause of this is evident And it makes me think of everyone Like it's always been But the plan won't accomplish anything The plan keeps coming up again And it's a perfect night I thought I knew A higher power And then we passed out We were in heaven And after work just before sunset Hold me trough the sweet hereafter We had to be quiet As a signal of well-being It's just you and me Through these simple pleasures But I'm just so amazed You think it's funny A last minute choice And it was you By which I travel into this and that Cause you are the light To be guided by you It's so beautiful It's all so obvious Why would anyone need a map or a compass I wanna see that fire We sure had fun The nights are silver There's no hurry I'm walking in your tracks If we someday have to part Life is aching in my heart Just let it be gone Just one more piano chord It's the truth I hold Make me believe all the songs you sang We could sit on giant rocks But that's what you expected Some shoulders may shrug It's time to settle down I'm heading home Grey skies on the outskirts As you turn away Your thoughts are running I'm looking at your face In the freezing wind I knew it was the last time Hand in hand I never wanted it to happen We'll become all the colors Of the wind and shine Walk down to the center And I'll take it in mine Just put out your hand We both know that Cause we're trying to get lost We're not coming back We're dropping it off From the top of the sky to underneath you I open my eyes and everything's blue I never know what I'm doing I don't know what I'm doing I don't want you to see me You only see what you wanna see But the moment's all too right And the seconds move slow When our heads hit the dream And the sun will break Of an open park And we fall in the grass When the morning's dark And we go outside When I don't know what to say Just to gather my thoughts On a quiet day What I'm thinking about Times I can't remember And not a day goes by I think I lose myself When you're around I'm not upset And that's not all What have I been doing here It's all I want to do I'm on my way to you Nothing to worry for Soon I'll be by your side I let the time pass by Scenery comes and goes I might not come back home The trees and sky collide I see the mountainside Leave the city behind It's all that's on my mind Got to get out of town We're awake throughout our youth We've got enough to spare In these hours that we set aside I don't know just what I feel Do you wanna step outside I turn my back on it Getting all bent out of shape I really couldn't say I mind Which one is yours or mine I can't figure out I know I waste my time I know I think too much We get lost sometimes When you discover that it's all the same It works out so well Please don't pick me up I can read your thoughts I don't care where we go You can take my hand I really don't care to know I can understand Blugolds 7 Blugolds 6 Blugolds 5 Blugolds 4 Blugolds 3 Blugolds 2 Blugolds 1 Into the river it bled Flew out the back of my head All that I thought I knew then Breathing repeating and bright Reaching expanding collapsing Far away empty of light Dim as an echo It's only a dream Let me tell you one thing Live a thousand lives and never a scheme So you want to be like me I will make it yours I will make it happen Wondrous things Magical scenes, wishes and dreams I will wait for you I will be your waiter I'll carry your load A servant I'll be to all of your needs A quiet wind at sea I'll be the sound of silence Then no one I'll be There's no one I need It's time to let the fun begin And when your hope grows thin I'll be there for you again When every sentence is ending with a frown When you're down When you're broken My pessimistic heart goes out to you Then I'll be there for you again When your family's grown tired of you High Gear When everyone has heard your story twice When your friends give up on you This is where I still belong This is where I am We're like clouds I start to fade into sight The distance disappears Today I'm feeling so fulfilled You're too quiet To explain your mood You wore black in school Now's the time to shape up Now's the time to wake up And now I'm feeling sure Where you know the ending You say your life's like a movie There was time We could get where we're going Untwist the knot Untie the cord Nothing but blue sky From a ten-foot hole Looking up Back off the wall The rope is starting to thread Close to the edge Get out of the way Tell the whole world Just make it stop Everything worth nothing Something worth everything But none forgotten The stand forsaken Fortune's taken A raging river You think it's pretty I never thought I'd see the day So leave it alone I see beyond the smile Sometimes right behind the sorrow The truth can hide Hope runs wild Now I don't know much It's there and gone But I don't see anyone Keeps me hanging on So blue No longer dare No longer care We took a light Even time I take a breath Into the air Miles gone inside Caught in the sway Dream the day You've got that too Take the edge of the room Reach and strain The things they say And fades to white The color bleeds You always hide And move on Write your own damn song A thousand years from now You could fly Moving through the room so quietly Get out while you're young I don't think we'll ever see the end I don't think we'll ever see their faces Pirates making liars out of men And I remember staring at my feet I remember my face turned red I remember walking up to you I remember a summer's day Looking to embrace the nothing of the everyday Come Tuesday morning, I want the same When Monday comes, I want nothing Don't know what I'd do without you We might just pull this off An endless pool A bright light Can't focus enough to read Move things around in space The smell of the dust burning It's so alive here So many little red lights You finally got here You can't believe your eyes But you gotta move fast Walking slow You're walking I thought of you first But it's nothing to us The price is too much But you knew every word The dream is enough A voice never heard The breath of a bird Especially me and probably you We don't have a clue Where we're from Where we belong And underfoot I'm over the moon So I can float over to you I want to get home The race is long A radiation dose And put it down I want to pilot I want to drive Let's hit the interstate Isn't it pretty to think so I would rather be exact But not defeated What a useless word Everybody is that way Gradually then suddenly Many are strong at the broken places Intelligent spans Intelligent pricing What's proper for the architect I never saw another building like yours You never can admit it She's bending rays to the interior The light one is hers The dense medium's mine Sunflower state Golden tone An accidental mallergy An occidental notebook A green ellipse A fertile swath A violent prize And a mountain range You're a hinterland hell You're an avalanche belt You're a hinderance felt Wake wake up Little library minds Little rooms Octagonal chambers Transmitterized I forgot your eyes Cones, rods and retinas The station gets blown out Tremendous friction On the inside Between what is said There is the eloquence Transparent as glass Down to nothing Where maybe no one ever sees Lose sight Just reacting all the time Cut all your wires Instead of bright Instead of kind Simultaneous sitting The engine kept on And all these places So I can speak into the silence And then I draw an ear on you There isn't ceiling in our garden It might be over soon I'm standing at the station If it's ever gonna happen Where you gonna look And I miss you in between them I miss the grass I miss the sky It will be written on my face And you don't even have to ask And all the pieces that remain And all the memories will never fade And all the things I've tried to change When I call your name On the mountain I climb In the castles I dreamed Through the cities I've walked Through the clouds I see In the air I breathe The nights never end And you're leaving too soon When I see the winter moon Whichever way we go Like seeing the snow on the ground Sometimes the highway stops Imagine what you missed Now that spring's began All the letters you regret having sent Under the silent weight of dreams Sing me something sweet I wonder if there's time It kept me up all night Then I look for all the signs I asked some questions Something's bound to go wrong This could be the year With broken arrows in your eyes Your best guess will work Divide us Inside us Take your time sweet thing It gave my mind a little place to hide Trying to make it rhyme I've spent a lot of time Let's bury the hatchet In the morning I'll make up my mind Worthless and tender Always a whisper One sunset further behind At this time tomorrow Write your initials with mine The sun's darkened angle Someday you'll change You'll always fade Deep through the clouds Take my side Where would you go Maybe you're right We had our fill There's gotta be an end to that It's just a shame Here we sit debating math Our bodies break Fading now Brighter sound Pressing light Yeah time's the great destroyer I hope we float away together It leads itself to nothing With all the other pretty things I can walk into the sea The words now are wrong I forgot all my songs The future is prisons and math They said music's for fools And some words I threw down some chords Under every stone Knowing what I know Through your third story window And it won't have to rhyme Looking at the sky I'll be just fine I'll be all right I won't even mind When I go deaf You think the words just walk away Never sing that song again You are the chorus sweet thing Sinking deep into my step All the kids are sleeping They ring so sweet We reach to cue the strings And at the peak Here comes that cold sunrise They sing, they dance and spin The words are plain to see The ocean repeating and receding into the sun On the edge of All your dreams are waking up Taking everyone apart Another cup It's warm It fell around you like the stars See your reflection in your mind We're never gonna make the light Turning way down low That's okay with me But you're such a fast walker Those bright lights Far far away from you It's only a quarter to three Short on long term goals There's something there that you can't find The ocean behind them From your place on sunset The great destroyer Your march is over At times I see you And I look right through One more thing before I go Never last Then in the dust Lack of light Lack of vision Little threads are all it takes Speaking without breathing You can't take that stuff to Canada Just keep counting the stars The winter was nice but the summer is hell Trying to keep time That's how you sing amazing grace Don't carry it all Wake up like giants Filling holes with tiny sounds Things we lost in the fire Ships lay sleeping beneath On a dark raging sea Left unattended We used to speak a different language Like a forest There's always one worth waiting for Hold on fast So hard to trace Maybe we'll wait til July Now at last I hear them pass They'll never wake us in time Gone I guess with the rest I don't need a laser beam Pulling up fences After expenses Stay up all night And gave them to the night With your half of the ransom Without your reasons Without the recourse Only to come down again Nobody's looking at the sky Over your shoulder Carry the weight Still I'll make this water home Just leave me to the river Make a river through the sand Voices small Ten thousand miles away Starfire tonight Let's take a ride I want a station of my own But I knew The stateless The wordless The distance The meaningful ones The bright ones The slow ones The loud ones The soft ones Never done Without doubt One more step One more dance The same words And the same hair And the same notes With the same clothes To choose the wait Say it's enough They're not gone They won't fall Goodbye to all the land Never thought the sea would try It's for certain Are you finding answers? Once you're able to stand They're gonna laugh You'll take it back A farm's the best place to call home The car won't make it to the lake The astronauts will bring it home You won't know Always out of place Cleaner lines Empty streets at dusk If I knew the right way through Eventually it will Feeling upside down Not the story in my head Dust on a beam Pour the light in When I decline One note answers the other Don't find out more than you want to know Don't come home too soon Let's pretend the fog has lifted The delicate balance has shifted The reception's gotten fuzzy Ready for the bad things to come In the California dusk Twin high-maintenance machines Listen to the engine whine And listened to the engine roar I put the pedal to the floor I broke free on a Saturday morning In my spiral ring notebook Fresh fuel for the sodium flares In your arms New straw for the old broom Or your memory Soft and hot They always have Yours alone Something about the summer That's not our deal The world is lazy When the sun don't shine Maybe I'm just crazy Why would you live anywhere else All mine I thought of you Gone, so gone So I stick around The moon rises as the sun descends What you see Brief glimpses of clear sky Winter still Longer circles White Silence See the night alone The cold wind was stinging There was a stampede By the sleeping or awake Fight the freeze On the edge of town Waiting gets old It runs like a dream Slow down the time Up in the woods As the moon waned to crescent Then the snow started falling Most indefinitely Errant heat to the star On the wettest ground It swirls and sweeps Out the hollows All that it seems So carry on Doubled in the toes Water's running through Ramble in the roots You're breaking your ground Furling forests for the soft Not yet awake Move dust through the light That was yesterday That was Wisconsin Down in a frozen ground I've been twisting to the sun Seek the light To string along So many territories My feet melt the snow Rush out Breaking at the britches Just last the year Or so the story goes Color the era Fit it in the doldrums Settling slow Lapping lakes like leery loons I move in water, shore to shore Somewhere in the ruins The distance grew up like the night Everything that matters is sure to take time About two thousand times Searching for some sunset Well this place is left empty We wait somewhere far away You are here now on this magical night The years will all blend into one Wandering some lonely road Try to take nothing for granted The color of an afternoon Somehow it will always sound the same What you now are seeking Wondering where to go Under our ceilings is much more revealing The impermanence of it all Good to see you again Rolled Away Turning stones over No longer far to run Drumming in the wind She shines tonight her golden light Your hair has grown too long Pathway to a new guiding line The light gets lost in your hair Sit in hiding places Turning patterns with a perfect line It should be unlawful to live where you can't see the stars Blueness moves along the edges Erratic bodies Shining down with the light Moving up all around The howling night will pass by A glowing ball of rock Across the divide Try to let the light out We build our own unfolding We're the dust we see Disappearing in recline But still I sway Watch how the clouds move the water The sky breathes Being across You never made a downpour in the sky Following the street lamps Look into the night sky You're just light upon the dark Don't get too lost in a dream world Washing everything away The slow steady rain is eroding and fading Feel it move when the wind blows Every day will shine Where it's harder to see I'd rather fall into tidal waves I opened a mirror up It's easy to be quiet Running away to stay That's the point of it The background shifts Caught up in motion When I stare into space Where does that time go before our eyes Hang on tight, the water's fine So we left a stone unturned Nearly everyday I heard you calling from far away You'll soon forget that there's any other place Can't feel both feet on the ground And there's a thousand reasons There's no hurry anyway We could slip away We'll disappear completely I wait in the shadows Catch the stars Try to be more right there Phone turned down Summer stays too long Another day come and gone Some way, somehow I just wonder what to do But they don't see very far I could go around in circles I used to have the notion For too long Let's leave today Another way for the moment But you're nowhere near Looking straight at you I climb where I can see Let's be undecided You can have it all Expecting a whisper Remember like it wasn't long ago And counts to three I found a spot by the door I remember sitting next to you The days and nights fly by Remember to Shine down and light up the day And we all were one All we are is everything It plays along in time I'm in motion too It's like how when Don't let gravity win See me scramble high See me sprawled out See me burned and blind See it fill the sky See me reach up You are a ball of fire You Are In the Air Ideas Aloft There's No Answering Sound With its Trickling Sound And Watch it Turn to Wide Air Their Solitudes Stand Watch The Place Lives Mere phantoms Impenetrable Uncertainty Over harbor and city on silent haunches Consuming Vanishing point Mountains Vanish Having new eyes Take the ride It is not down on any map Nowhere to go but everywhere All over again And a sense of wonder takes me Like the sun even without looking
