Yesterday was the worst day I’ve ever witnessed in my life in the USA. The person who is supposed to be president (though he never really has been because he’s a fucking sociopath) incited an attempted coup. Shame on the terrorists that invaded the Capitol and tried to subvert democracy. Shame on everyone who voted for this motherfucker both times. Shame on those who still support him. And I hope to whatever higher power exists that he is put to death. I have no idea how I’ll ever explain this to my children - that we lived through some of the darkest days of the USA with a leader who tried to become a king. Fuck Trump and fuck all his terrorist followers.
