I went to Gary, Indiana two weekends ago to take some photos. It was quite a strange and sad sight. Almost everything was closed. Some buildings have been sitting vacant for over 20 years. If you’re wondering what a city that loses half its population looks like, this is it. I must say though, the people there were all very friendly.
